Virtual Private Network (VPN) Service
The VPN service offers the possibility to those who connect to the Internet through different Internet Service Providers to have safe access to the A.U.A. intranet. With the use of the VPN service the Personal Computer is virtually transported to the network of the University irrespective of its physical or network location. In this way the user has the possibility of remote access to the electronic resources of the Library (such as electronic journals & books, databases, etc.), which, until recently, was possible only from the University premises.
