Library TrainingLibrary Training's aim is to inform all members of the academic community and make them familiar with the electronic information sources provided by the A.U.A. Library and Information Center. The service runs training courses at the beginning of each academic year for the new students and throughout the year for all the members of the academic community. Training courses are focused on:
- Online Catalogue (WebOPAC)
- E-Journals - Databases Training Courses Scheduling :
Training courses last approximately two hours. Basic computation knowledge is necessary. They are divided into the following groups
- Basic Research Principles / Online Catalogue (OPAC)
- E Journals / Databases
They take place:
a. at the library (in groups of 10)
b. at pc workstations at the laboratories after consultation with the teaching staff
c. in the service's office (individual sessions are available after colsultation with the service staff.
